How to Fix "550 Access Denied - Invalid HELO Name" Error:

For Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Go to File → Account Settings (or Tools → Email Accounts in older versions).

  3. Select your email account and click Change.

  4. Click More Settings.

  5. Go to the Outgoing Server tab.

  6. Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".

  7. Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

  8. Click OK → Next → Finish and restart Outlook.

For Thunderbird:

  1. Open Thunderbird.

  2. Go to Tools → Account Settings.

  3. Scroll down and click Outgoing Server (SMTP).
