Email Connection Error Troubleshooting Guide

Common Issues & Quick Fixes:

  1. "Incorrect Password" Error

    • ✅ Ensure you're using your email account password (not cPanel password)

    • Reset password in cPanel > Email Accounts if unsure

    • ⚠️ More than 5 failed attempts may block your IP

  2. SSL/Connection Errors

    • Use secure server settings:

      • IMAP: port 993 (SSL)

      • SMTP: port 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)

    • Replace mail.yourdomain.com with your secure server name
