Setting Up Gmail to Send and Receive Emails

Incoming Mail (POP3)

  1. Log in to Gmail.

  2. Go to Settings > Accounts and Import.

  3. Click Add a POP3 mail account you own.

  4. Enter your Email Address and click Next.

  5. Enter your Username (your full email address).

  6. Enter the Password for your email account.

  7. Set the POP Server (your domain name followed by "mail").

  8. Choose any additional options you may need.

  9. Click Add Account.


Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

  1. Choose Yes, I want to be able to send mail as (your email address).

  2. Decide if you want to use the address as an Alias.

  3. Click Add Account.

  4. Select Send through [your domain] SMTP server.

  5. Enter the SMTP Server (your domain name followed by "mail").

  6. Enter your Username (your full email address).

  7. Enter the Password for your email account.

  8. Choose Port 25 (Non-SSL) or 465 (SSL).

  9. Click Add Account.
