Email Setup for Plesk/Windows Users

Email Setup for Plesk/Windows Users

There are two main ways to access your mailbox for sending and receiving emails:

1. Access via Webmail Interface

Steps:

  1. Open a web browser and go to:
    http://webmail.example.com
(Replace example.com with your actual domain)

  2. Log in using:

    • Username: Your full email address (e.g., mail@example.com)

    • Password: Your email account password

  3. Alternatively, if you're logged into Plesk:

    • Go to the Mail section

    • Click the mail icon next to the email address you want to open

Note:

If the webmail page doesn't load:

  • Go to Mail > Mail Settings in Plesk

  • Click your domain name

  • Make sure a webmail client is selected in the Webmail dropdown menu

2. Set Up an Email Client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail)

Use the following default settings (unless your panel provides different ones under Email Address → Info):

Login Credentials:

  • Username: Your complete email address

  • Password: Your email password

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP/POP3):

  • Server: yourdomain.com (e.g., sample.com)

  • Protocols Supported:

    • IMAP (default)

    • IMAP over SSL/TLS

    • POP3

    • POP3 over SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):

  • Server: yourdomain.com (e.g., sample.com)

  • Authentication: Required (use same credentials as incoming mail)
